Potomac River Report from Rock Droneburg

The week started out with many mid Atlantic rivers at or near flood stage. The Potomac remains high and heavily stained. With the water temps ranging from 36-40 degrees we found fish tight to the bank and behind any structure that was forming a current break. We used gliders and Cranks by Hot tail gliders to put fish in the boat.   The slow stop and go retrieve seems to be working but hopefully a warm week and clearer stable water will be better for the future.
