PMTT Day 1 Update
A total of 9 teams caught 12 fish on Day 1 of the First Leg of the Annual 25th Professional Musky Tournament League.
Some tough conditions for the 25th Anniversary PMTT Spring Cave Run Event, with water levels a few feet “UNDER SUMMER POOL”, for the lowest ever water levels for Spring Cave Run and clear water on top of it, made spring fishing here at Cav e Run a little different than what the anglers are accustomed to. But the PMTT anglers know how to adjust and change things up to find those elusive fish of 10,000 casts – THE MUSKY!
Day 1 Results
12 Muskies caught with Saturday’s Big Fish at 46.25″ caught by the leading team of Kevin Nash & Jarod Donar where Jared ended up hand landing the beast. This catch gave them 3 Musky for Day 1 and the lead. They were the only triple and in second place was a double. The other 7 teams to catch fish landed singles. That leaves 80 teams with no catch for the day! But day 2 kicks off tomorrow morning at 7am. Stay tuned to the Musky Hunter Magazine Facebook Page or the Professional Musky Tournament – PMTT Facebook page for live updates as they happen!
Weather tomorrow looks to change a little from today with cooler temperatures, stronger sustained winds and an increase in a chance of rain. Cloudy with occasional showers for the afternoon. High near 60 degrees F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph sustained. Chance of rain currently at approximately 50%.
