Nathan and I ditch the 17 ft Crestliner in favor of the little 12 ft Alumacraft in order to explore a small river for the Northern Wisconsin musky opener. We know there are muskies in this river, but we’re not sure how far up it they come to spawn, so this is just a shot in the dark. It doesn’t take long to make contact with the first of 12 muskies that we saw this day. A white 8″ Lee Lures Pelagic Swim was the star bait of the trip.
