Larry Ramsell Outing on Lake Vermilion dates are set!!!
Package includes lodging, meals, boat docking, and presentations.
$570/person
Welcome to our 20th annual Larry Ramsell Musky outing. We encourage everyone to share information, enjoy some great meals, and get together in the evening for some great presentations and open discussions. Larry Ramsell has spent many years of his life dedicated to the sport. He has researched many of the largest musky catches ever recorded, is the past President of Muskies Inc, has caught Muskies up to 57 inches and has fished many of the best lakes in Canada and the U.S. We hope you enjoy the weekend and catch a monster. Our hope is everyone attending will learn something new about Musky fishing and share some of their own knowledge with others around them.
Meals
Lunch: Lunches will be ready for pickup in morning following breakfast. After breakfast there will be a table set up where you can pick up your lunch and drinks. Insulated lunch bags will be sent out with each boat. Please make sure to bring the bags back in at night to the lodge for the next day. If you already have a cooler or insulated bag please bring it down with you for breakfast so you can take your Lunch with you.

Presentations: Several top Vermilion musky guides will be hired for the weekend to give presentations, guide and offer advice. We also pick names from a hat to choose each day of the outing who will fish in Larry’s boat.
Prize Drawings: Include Guide trips with some of the top Muskie guides on Lake Vermillion as well as Thorne Brothers and Doc Sonar tackle and merchandise.
General Info about Weekend
If you would like to attend and do not have a boat we have rentals available or we have fisherman attending that have room for another fisherman in their boat.
Whether you are an experienced musky fisherman or just want to learn more about it, this weekend is a great opportunity to mix up with some guys that have been chasing muskies for many years.
Lodge game room/bar: We will provide pop, ice and coffee. We also donate some beer. We will have a donation jar to replenish the beer. We will replenish the beer with what is put in the donation jar each day.
Dock Service: Marty, Austin and Danny will cover our main dock over the weekend. If you need help with electrical cords, ice, or gas, see them.
Boat parking: Once you have a slip or dock spot, please try to keep that spot. If you have a problem with electrical outlets, let us know.
Extra car parking: We ask that you park extra cars in our parking lot next to the fish house. This will keep the roads open throughout the resort.
Record your catches and follows: There will be charts that will give the opportunity to report fish caught. We encourage everyone to record fish caught. This provides the opportunity to see what patterns for lure type, depth, and structure.
Please log your fish on the VDL Braggin’ Board by clicking >> VDL BRAGGIN BOARD
Email photos of your catch by clicking on this link>> vdl@vdl.com
Phone/Internet: There is wireless Internet available in each cabin. Connection information is posted in each cabin.
Cell phone coverage is limited. We do have a booster in the game room. The best service provider around the resort or on the lake is AT&T. If your carrier allows, try “Wifi Calling” from the cabin’s network.
“We really enjoy the opportunity to put this on each year. Your business is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to make yourself at home…let us know if there is anything we can do to help make this a great weekend for you.”
~Ed Tausk and VDL Staff.
