Guidelines with Kurt Kimpton: Wisconsin River Report

Wisconsin River Report
Fall is in the air! Cooler nights and falling water temps have the fish starting to make their fall transitions. Fishing has started to pick back up after a week long lull in activity on the river. Water temps are low to mid 70s and the fish seem to be relating to current edges and breaks. I fished Saturday and Sunday over labor day weekend with great success, putting 6 fish in the net. Rubber and twitch baits seamed to be outperforming everything else we were throwing.
