Guidelines with Cody Daniels: Friday Fishing Report from Tennessee Waters!
Water Temps here are hovering in the mid to high 60s. We are in some serious need of rain to get things moving back to normal. That said, water clarity is 2 feet and better in other areas. The lack of rain and low flow is making the bite here more difficult than usual during this time of year.
We are in a post spawn Musky hunt, and the bite is starting to get really good. We have numerous fish following to the boat and more and more are taking the bait. This gives guests in my boat opportunities at 2 or 3 fish a day (give or take).
Fish here have mainly been moving on just about any lure but the most action has come from blades, top waters, and pull baits.
If the area can see some good rainfall that will allow May to be one of the best months, we have seen here in a long time! Tight lines everyone and keep hunting!
