I travel Iowa to musky fish a few days with my buddy Matt Vavroch. This first day finds us chasing muskies on a beautiful reservoir with reletively clear water that’s right around 58-59 degrees. The muskies are post spawn and were pretty active as we had 19 follows, but getting them to engage in the figure 8 at strike boat-side just wasn’t happening.
