Giant Lake Nippising musky caught by Musky Hunter Writer!

It was mid November when Captain Matt “Catfish” Firestein a fishing guide on Lake St. Clair in Michigan decided to take a trip with his good buddy Craig Eversol of Madison, WI lake Nippising to visit local guide & friend Matt O’brien of Slobland Guide Service.  It was on this windy chilly day that the three went out in search of a giant.  It was a “tough, slow day fall day,” Firestien said.  The 3 fished hard and pitched big rubber all day long without a follow.  Then at 5:30pm while tossing a Musky Innovations Pounder Firestein hooked up with a giant.  The fish stayed down but after couple big runs the 56″ Lake Nippissing giant hit the net.  Great job by the entire team!

Accommodations Chaudiere lodge., beautiful trophy water. Caught casting Rubber!
