Any time I try to explain to someone how I ended up where I am in life, muskies make up
a big part of the conversation. As a 26-year-old, I have a bachelor’s degree from
Western Illinois University all the while, already accounting for a more traveled history of
chasing these fish than most in their lifetime. My love for the outdoors and fishing was
instilled in me at a young age however the role muskies played in my life became much
bigger than face value. Understanding and experiencing life while simultaneously
learning to fish muskies ended up being the connection that grew my passion for
catching them and taught me so many of life’s greatest lessons. I pride myself on fishing
with a different perspective and open mind, excelling in today’s technologies, and
making a point to be doing something different than every other person on the water.
