Fishing Report New River VA-Ken Trail

MH Fishing Report

Winter fishing here in VA is on fire right now. Some big number
days are happening and the big girls are showing up! Glide
baits, dive and rise, and twitch/crank baits are putting the
majority of the fish in our boats. We are experiencing some
high water and we are working current breaks with these baits.
Try throwing a deeper twitch bait and rubbing the bottom a
little with it. I’ve been using Llungen’s .50 Cal, in the walleye
pattern, with success. With water temperatures in the upper
30’s work just a little slower. If you’d like to experience the
James or New river in VA give me a call!
