Epic day and a PB-West Virginia Report from Musky Hunter Writer Chase Gibson
In my last report I talked about cold weather and freezing lakes. The Lakes I mentioned are completely froze up now. This in turn caused me to fish a big river system. The river was flowing higher than normal which helped figure out where fish would be positioned. We found fish in slack water areas with sunken timber and schools of bait! Large profile rubber and big crankbaits were the ticket due to high current and milky water clarity. Here are a couple fish from our 5 fish day including a 51”,47.75”,42.5”,40”,39.75”! Water temps were 35-37 degrees! Get with me for a chance to catch some West Virginia muskies!
