54 or bust

54orbust with a review of the Lumox Lures Scallywag

Today the 54 or Bust crew go underwater with the Scallywag from Lumox Lures. A lure that fits many categories, kinda like a dive and rise, kinda like a glide, a lure that can be used in a variety of ways. Today we keep it simple with subtle pulls of the rod tip on the first segment and sharp snaps on the second segment. Experiment with what works best for you. – I find myself using it with short pulls and a slight pause and mixing in a long pull and longer pause at random intervals. – We end with my first fish ever caught on the Scallywag, a late summer Eagle Lake giant that ate boat side.
