Ohio Musky Show January 21, 22, 23 at Makoy Event Center, Hilliard, OH
Covid-19 prevented the show from happening for 2 years but we are excited to welcome vendors

and guests back to the show in person.

Columbus, OH Musky Hunter Magazine and Nelson’s Seasonal Décor, LLC is excited to invite
folks back to the Ohio Musky Show located at the Makoy Event Center in Hilliard, OH. The
show begins Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2pm to 8pm, continues on Saturday, January 22, 2022
9am to 6pm and will conclude on Sunday, January 23, 2022 9am to 2pm. The Ohio Musky
Show is geared toward the Musky angler or someone interested in the challenge of fishing for
Musky. The show will include 40+ vendors and seminars each day about the latest and greatest
tools needed to fish for and/or memorialize a hunt after the elusive fish of 10,000 casts. Entry to
the show costs $15 a day per person or guests could purchase a 3-day pass and enjoy the show in
its entirety for $25 per person. All children under 12 years old are permitted to the show at no
charge.
The Ohio Musky Show is a vendor-based event where passersby will have the opportunity to
discuss with the maker/producer of baits, retailers of fishing rods and reels, and book trips with
guides from different locations where Musky can be caught. Additionally, Musky Road Rules
will be presenting seminars throughout the show which will be informative sessions from experts
around the industry. All the seminars will last approximately 30 minutes for instruction with a
10-minute question/answer segment at the end of each. This allows the anglers to get personal
with the speakers and potentially put more Musky in their boats in the coming season(s). Vance
Kaloz (fishing guide in Lake Chitaqua) and Chad Harmon (fishing guide from northern Ohio)
will speak on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 4pm and 6pm respectively. Saturday the Seminars
kick-off again at 11am with Chase Gibson (fishing guide and current length state record holder
in West Virginia), Gregg Thomas at 1pm (owner of Battle the Beast Guide Service and co-editor
of Musky Hunter Magazine), and Ken Trail (fishing guide from Virginia and owner of Rock On
Charters) at 3pm.
Sunday, January 23, 2022 is Kids Day at The Ohio Musky Show. The day long event is
sponsored by Llungen Lures and all kids 12 and under get into the show for free but specifically
on Sunday will get to color/paint their own Musky Lure.
